Event production in Barcelona, from first idea to last song

Smart Culture produces events in Barcelona for companies and brands: corporate events, launches, brand activations, team dinners and parties. You get one producer who keeps the venue, suppliers, sound, light, music and timing together.

Founder Mart Reinders has produced events since 2017, from full productions at the Westerkerk in Amsterdam to events for Salesforce and nights at Soho House Barcelona.

Event production: Smart Culture

What we produce

  • Corporate events, company parties and team offsites
  • Product launches and brand activations
  • Conference side events and after-parties
  • Private events with a strong music programme
  • Events designed to create content for your channels

What production means here

Production is everything that has to happen for the evening to feel easy: finding and booking the venue, briefing suppliers, sound and light, staffing, permits where needed, artists and DJs, and a run sheet that everyone works from. On the day, the producer is on site and solves things before guests notice.

Because we also make content, we plan the event with the camera in mind. That way you leave with photos and videos you can use for months.

Music is part of the plan

Mart has played as DJ Martista since 2009, in Amsterdam and Barcelona. Music is not an afterthought in our productions: the right sound at the right moment is often what people remember. If you want, Martista can play, or we book the right artist for your crowd.

Questions

How far ahead should we start?

For larger corporate events, three to six months is comfortable, especially in spring and early autumn and around big trade fairs. Smaller events can be done faster.

Can you help find a venue?

Yes. We propose venues that fit your group size, budget and style, from rooftops and restaurants to industrial spaces and masias outside the city.

Do you organise events outside Barcelona?

Yes, in Catalonia and in the Netherlands, especially Amsterdam.

Can you provide the DJ as well?

Yes. Mart plays as Martista, and we can book other DJs and live acts too.
